Our
History
1972
Franck Cockett Jr. started Habilitat Construction providing vocational training for those in need and generating income for the non-profit organization.
1985
Habilitat Construction branches out, opens another business "Riva Rock" a popular driveway sealant in the 80's. Habilitat Construction became Habilitat Services.
1995
Habilitat begins having individuals train with other local nurseries in landscaping and opens our own hydroponics division.
2005
Habilitat begins training under the top vinyl fence companies in the state. Currently we install over 50% of the vinyl fences on Oahu.
2007
Habilitat opens "Wahine Services" an all female crew providing landscaping and house cleaning services.
2015
Habilitat Construction takes on restoration of the land beginning committments to the reforestation of Koa on the Big Island, ridding invasive species from local fishponds and lo'i.
2018
Habilitat moves out of our warehouse space that we occupied on Kahuhipa St. for 30 years.
2024
Habilitat Construction has a branding change and is now Habilitat Services.
